Negotiations are on with the help of our partners, EIFL and INASP, to procure more resources at affordable rates.
(Please note that the journal databases that NeLIC offers will depend on member demand. At the moment, most of the members of NeLIC are interested in the social sciences and hence the greater focus on social sciences. When NeLIC’s membership expands to institutions interested in other streams and there is a demand to access databases in related subjects, NeLIC will work to provide such databases as well through negotiations with EIFL and INASP. Waived or discounted Article Processing Charges (APCs) for authors from Nepal as a partner country of EIFL when they publish in an Open Access journal of the following publishers.

Support in setting up electronic library systems; and

Participation in workshops, seminars and other capacity-building activities related to electronic resources and related issues.
